SwiftPractice EMR is developed and supported by SwiftDataworks Nigeria Ltd, based inAbuja, Nigeria. Since 2010, the platform has grown alongside the Nigerian hospitals that use it, today supporting 80+ facilities, from single-consultant clinics to multi-branch hospital groups.

SwiftPractice was designed from the inside of Nigerian clinical practice, not adapted from a system built for a different healthcare system. Managed care, NHIA claims, retainer billing, intermittent infrastructure and the realities of running a hospital on ordinary hardware were part of the brief from day one, not add-ons bolted on later.

That grounding shows up in the details: fee-for-service and retainer billing built to match how Nigerian hospitals actually get paid, specialty modules for fertility, dialysis and dental care built alongside general OPD, not sold separately, and a support relationship that stays hands-on well past go-live.
